Hi all. First time here and wanted to see how it`s going with asking others for help. I just want to buy a new PC. So first let start with CPU and motherboard. My budget is for CPU 80 dollars and for mobo 50 dollars. What is my choice ? Games what i will play is starcraft 2, lol, cs:go and that basics games. So what is smart buy ? Go with AMD or Intel ? In my store i see 860k Athlon, pentuim g3258 and FX6300, it is simular price and i can buy all so what is smart buy and why. I saw people saying like AM3+ sockets is dead and it is dead end to buy fx series, should i go with FM2+ sockets and if i do what is future from FM2+ sockets ? currently i have core2duo e8200 with 4gb ddr2 memory and HD5770 and i can`t play ok games like cs go( dota and lol works ok i think becouse of `OK` GPU for that) but in starcraft 2 fps drop like ***t when i am in late game, so what to do :) ty all and sorry if i did mistake in english i am not very good at spelling :)

For your budget, the FM2+ socket with an APU would be best.

My guess is you are mostly being set back by your CPU right now. Because while the 5770 isn't the greatest card, you should be able to play starcraft 2 just fine at medium settings...

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite

for now about 250 dollars for ram,cpu and mobo. I think like buy mobo, cpu and ram first(keep old HD5770,hdd and PSU)then later change GPU becouse i think HD5770 is ok for me in this moment, i can run all games on low, medium, high(depends on title) even with my old cpu combo(dota runs 60+, lol 70+) but in games who asking for more cpu power is realy bad( cs go run BAD i guess asking for more cpu,ram power).

and yes one thing what i forget i will never go above R7 260 or GTX 750 or next gen GPU`s who will be in that price range. So what is a smart buy becouse i don`t want to have like horse power CPU who will work same with low price CPU with that kind of GPU`s if you catch me :)

Yes, I agree. Look for anything within the A10 spectrum.

If only you had 100 more, maybe you could get a 760k and a 750Ti. Oh well it'll last you a year so buy the A10 and buy a better GPU within a year or so.

i was thinking to buy 860k with gigabyte ga-f2a88xm-ds2 and 8 gb on 1866 Mhz using my old HD5770 for this year and next year change GPU ? Is that smart buy ? Whats up with that A10 APU`s, what is future if i buy A10 7850k ? I am a noob now didn`t folow PC parts for years

No, I'd hold up for a year with the 7850k It's still a great APU and preforms close to a 650ti.

BTW I reccomend that if you DO end up getting into PC gaming, you pick up this: http://www.amazon.com/Programmable-Buttons-Profiles-specific-Switches/dp/B00CBQO930

Seriously gaming mice don't have to be expensive. Great investment that I'll never regret.

I wouldn't get that SSD, Kingston changed the controller or something and it made it considerably worse.

and they changed it back. xD

so all suggest to go with good APU ? and later crossfire it with R7 250 ?

yes. :D A8 7600 is what i really reccomend. its basically the best GPU AMD can put in their current APUs but under 100$ and go with atleast 1866mhz ram. because an APU really benifits from that.

ok so this is my update, after hours and hours reserch i decided to go with intel, i will buy asus z97-k mobo becouse it is on some action or smth on low price about 110 dollars so will go with that, and now i am thinking about i3 4160 or i5 4460 (100 dollars more). Yeah i5 is so much expensive than i3 so is it worth to not eat 1 mounth(joke), becouse i will not go above gtx 750 (and i get so much room for upgrate later to i7 when i need it to, so dunno what to do) ? I am casual gamer, i am ok to run games on medium, and i will play moslty cs:go, dota and starcraft, or sometimes when some games is  worth for buying or smth like that( for example i can play battlefiled 3(bf3>bf4) on low even on my old system with core 2 duo,4gb ddr2, it lags sometimes in cpu intesive scene but i think with i3 and gtx 750 will run like very good) ? And what about ram, 1600 Mhz or 1866 Mhz for this build ? what is diffrence ? I saw like 1600 Mhz is native speed for i3 and i5 so what to do ? ANd i saw that people plays even Dragon Age:Inq and Farcray 4 with i3 very well. Is this 4 cores just marketing( only for GAMES) or what ? And **** fps bencmark and ****, if i can play games  30-60 frames i will buy that machine, i am telling this becouse 6 years ago they told me buy 4 cores you will need for games that much, well after  6 years ago same **** story,
