I currently have Windows 7 32bit installed on my main computer. I didn't think I would need the extra RAM. I figured the 3.2gb or 3.7gb or whatever it is would be enough. As it turns out I often use quite a bit of this RAM even when I am not doing much to eat up the RAM. Also i plan to do some gaming in the future when I upgrade my graphics card so I will need to get Windows 7 64bit.

My question is: Can I swap OS' with my old laptop that has windows 7(64bit) on it. Maybe image the 64 bit one to a spare drive and then swap it over. If it is possible can I possibly get some help or a tutorial or any other methods of doing what I am trying to do. (Install Windows 7 64bit on this computer without having to buy another copy of windows.

I should probably add: The laptop I want to take Windows 7 64bit from cam with the OS preloaded so I have no product key. But I have the 32bit version on disc with a product key.
