It seems that people cannot read so I must try to make it easily readable.

THE BUDGET IS 1600 NEW ZEALAND DOLLARS.

Budget is around NZ$1600, and in New Zealand (nz.pcpartpicker.com) For gaming @ 1080p 90% the time, simple video editing crap 10% the time. No need for perifs/monitors. Don't get an overclockable CPU, as I'm building this for someone and I don't want them to botch the CPU.

looks decent!

one complaint doe... do you really need a 210 NZD case? i mean thats almost half the gpu budget and does not effect performance overall. i know cases are a very personal choice but i would go performance over asthetics.

My mate said that he doesn't like the look of the S430, and is settling for the white H440. I'll tell him to look at the Source 210.

EDIT: He wants the Corsair 230T. Can easily afford it  :D

I would get the i5 4690k so that you could overclock ing the future.

Nope, he'll overclock and botch it up. I know he'd do that EASILY.

I'd try to get a nicer PSU, but it looks good.

Cooler Master V650S incoming :) You think the V550S would be fine tho?

Change Cpu to I5 4690 or (k) for overclocking and it will save you around 40 to 50 $.

No, around $40-$50 more, then I'd need go get a Z97 motherboard.

But you can't overclock the i5 that you first put in the pcpartpicker thingy

That is why I am not using a 4690K in this build.
