Yes, it will clear all viruses as it will wipe all the data from the drive.

 

As long as you don't do tons of zero overs on an SSD, it should only help performance by removing most of the data, making for a clean install.

It means you shouldnt do a "full format"...Just quick format the ssd and you're good

1. It should clean viruses.

2. For SSD to work optimally you must have some free space I think 2-10 or 2-5 GB I'm not sure.
