Asus Gtx 650 1gb DDR5 or EVGA Geforce 740 Superclocked 4gb DDR3?

I know someone who is selling both, which is a better card?

740, newer and you don't really want 1gb of vram

I would probably go with the GTX 650 as the ram is the faster gddr5 vs the gddr3 on the other.they are similar in performance otherwise

I'd go with the 650 as well.

Depending on the price we are looking at, the 750 is a much better value though.

You don't need 4gb of VRAM on a 740, lol. I would get the 650. But if you can get a cheap AMD card like a 260x.
