Crystal white

FromWhitin

Hey Guys, i got this build for about 4 months now and never cared to upload it.

But now i start doing some mods and still have some stuff on my mind and i like to know what you guys would think of it,

What i did already?

- Replaced the plexiglass sidepanel windows for temperated glass with non-reflective coating(reflects 2%)

- In the pictures below i changed the geforce gtx logo white, replaced the cooling paste and painted the edge of the pcb black.

- Take one of my led strips out and put it under my case(underglow effect)

Planned mods?

-paint the silver parts on the graphics card white with plastidip.

-paint he motherboard black or white, not decided yet.

-make a cover out of plexi(white color) for the radiator and fans to hide them.

-make a cover out of plexi for(white color) put over the back of the case and hide the IO and stuff.

-buy or make custom individual sleeved cables.

-maybe new ideas?

What did you use to paint the PCB edge? Was thinking of doing the same to my 970s :) BTW, nice build, good choice in colors, reminds me of my build :P

Nice :) The 980s are kinda out of my price range, thats why I went 970 SLI, it is roughly the same price as a single 980 and performs 70-80% better for what I have heard :)

Understandable :) But seeing I have only a 1080p monitor, or should I say 39" TV, the 970s are more than enough for me :) and later I will be getting a 1440p monitor, I dont need more :) I dont Play that many demanding games, so the VRAM "feature" is not a problem for me... Diablo III and The Crew for example at 4K DSR - flawless :)

for 1080p and 1440p they are perfect indeed, the crew at 4k it mostly flawless with 1 gpu and high settings, mostly 60 fps, dips to 50 sometimes.

@FromWhitin your black and white concept is nice.... something different from the regular black/red and black/blue scheme

Thanks!

Yes, that's why i don't want to much black haha.

Man the reference card looks *AMAZING*

That window, heatsink and logo are very nice.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III
