  1. So yesterday i tried some stuff, clearing cmos didn't help, after that i took the gpu out ans put it back in. Yesterday evening it didn't crash anymore so it might be fixed, although it's still strange. He didn't had anything downloaded on his pc except for some programs he needs and are from official websites. I did found someone with exactly the same problem and his motherboards pci-e lanes where somehow broken and got it fixed by replacing the motherboard. But some people also reported they "fixed" it by taking the gpu out ans back in, like i said the pc didn't crash YET after i did this, but if it still does i take his gpu out and put his brothers gpu in(also 1070). This might confirm for me if the gpu is bad(so no crashes anymore) or the motherboard(still crashing)
  2. I got the k70 for about 5 years now and it still works like day-1 never problems and types as new. I love it.
  3. We'll see!, it might be very likely this problem since he is pretty much a stupid cunt and just install everything without checking the boxes to "agree to install program X" if you know what i mean
  4. Like i said, i did reinstall windows and the problem came back after a week, which makes me believe it's a software problem, maybe something he downloaded recently and had it before. I shouls check this and putting bios in default settings is something i also tought off, i will try these things this evening! Thx!
  5. All the games he plays are bought and on steam or any other gaming service. I dont know about the shits he downloads, haven't checked that yet!

  7. Hey guys, my friend's gaming pc which keeps crashing after i build it for him 6 months ago. I reinstalled his system and the problem was gone for about a week but the crashing returns. It's a very harsh crash and all the fans go to 100% fan speed, but i csn still hear him at this point on skype but he has to restart his system, it only happens at load such as gaming(any game). I tried stress testing his system(aida86) and it doesnt seems to crash as much under stress test than gaming stress somehow. I stressed full system, cpu, fpu, cach, memory and gpu and also cpu/memory/gpu separate System is not OCed Specs: Palit gtx1070, 60 degrees max load Intel 6600k, 50 degress maz load Asrock extreme4, don't know exact temp but not hot at all. 2400 ddr4 kingston hyperx savage, 2400 enabled on xmp profile. I am lost in the problem, 2 more things poped up in my mind which is disabling XMP and clear cmos. I dont know anymore solutions. Please help?!!!

  9. its not overheating, my pc is sitting on my desk and like i said, the temps are perfectly fine.
  10. hey guys, i resently changed my desk(yes my desk) and since then when i moved all the stuff(inclueding the pc) i get all kinds of bluescreen very randomly. The codes i get are: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR yesterday i got 3 times the IRQL_.... error and once CLOCK_WATCHDOG pc was running all night without problems today i got like 6 bluescreens with those errors execpt for CLOCK_WATCHDOG my pc specs: EVGA gtx980ti reference i7 6700k asus maximus gene corsair rm550psu kingston hyperx fury ddr4 8gb the gpu is overclocked and stress tested for over 24 hours and the cpu is overclocked to 4.6ghz and also stress tested for 24 hours the memory is running at 2400mhz with xmp profile. i never had those bluescreens before i changed my desk, i tried a bios update, add more voltage to the cpu, gpu and ram. installed new nvidia, chipset and certain other drivers. did a system check (CMD sfc /scannow) but found nothing. All the temps are nice and shouldn't be the problem(bellow 80 degrees) [edit] here are some files with more information https://onedrive.liv...&ithint=folder,

  12. If still nothing is working you can try to load a back-up and reset your pc to the time before you removed the gpu?. This does mean you will lose all the files which are downloaded/made between back then and now.
  13. Happens to be 4.6 is my max stable overclock at 1.325v 74degrees max. 4.7 is not stable, even at 375 its crashing.
