No problem man. I'm not sure what the problem could be. Check the connections going into the monitor and the video card. Check also to see that the CPU is installed correctly. Also check to make sure that all the connectors from the PSU are in their proper place on the motherboard. I suspect that this might be what the problem is. Other than that I'm not sure.

Yeah and also check the PSU connections in the motherboard. I suspect that might be the issue.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. I think that happened to me once when I was replacing the CPU once. Just check to make sure that none of the pins on the CPU are damaged.

Out of curiosity did you pull up on the little bar attached to the socket first and then put the CPU in? It has to be locked into the socket fully with the pins lined up in order to work. That would explain why it came out with the heatsink.

Definitely make sure there are no bent pins first.

The PC will post without a drive attached. Disconnect all drives until you figure it out

 

9/10 time when a new system wont post its because the CPU power is not connected or GPU power

 

Only attach one stick ram, CPU power and GPU. Short the PWM front header and it should post

 

If it still wont post. Check the BIOS reset jumper and see if its in the correct position (manual)

 

Do I see an adapter on the GPU power? Get a proper PSU
