im trying to veiw a webcam feed on my raspberry pi and its just giving me a black screen , i have tried cheese and guvcview and non of them work, I NEED HELP PLZ

What webcam do you have? There is a chance that its not compatible with the Pi.

What do you see?

What software did you use? what packages did you install?

What howto did you follow?

What OS version of the Pi are you running?

How do  you connect the Pi to the webcam?

Does the webcam work on another client?

Did you connect a monitor to the PI or are you viewing it remotely?

no help

usb interface

yes on my pc

yes i conected it to my 1080p monitor
