Alright, I got a new system and with it, an ssd. I installed windows 8.1 on that, and then migrated my old hdd over to hold my programs and stuff. So, now that I need a bit of space, is it safe to delete my old windows installation on my hdd, or will that cause problems. If it is safe, how do I go about doing so?

Will that require the re-installation of all my programs and stuff? Cause that takes forever thanks to Uplay.

Did you SSD come with a cloning utility, I am pretty sure you can use that to transfer the OS and programs assuming they are small enough to fit on the SSD. If you do a fresh install, you will need to re-install everything.

Yes, it's completely safe; you do it by going to Disk Cleanup and selecting "Clean up system files" and selecting the appropriate check box.
