I've only got a modest overclock but my Core i5-2500K is clocked at a nice 4.0GHz with a voltage of 1.15v and my question is basically how good is my chip (sounds extremely moronic). I ran AIDA64 at 10 hours and 2 minutes while I was at work and seems fine.

 

I've read some reviews and two the guys achieved the same but one had 1.18v and the other was 1.19v so mine being stable with 1.15v is mine a decent chip?

my 2600K could do 5Ghz on 1.4v. Ramp your 2500K up and see

I am curious to see what this CPU can do though before I go any higher ideally I want a better cooler. The TX3 is fine but not outstanding.

Yeah 1.4v would get you far but you would need the highest end AIO or a custom loop. Something like the Kraken X61 or the Enermax Liqtech 240 would be your best bet most likely. I'm sure the H105 would work just as well I just don't like Corsair AIO's.
