I just got the jagdpanther which took a while. I am having some a really bad time with it at the moment due to the 80mm frontal armour. I play on sim only so does anyone have some good tips. I can't engage long range because all the guns I go against can penetrate me easily.

Eh I used to play War Thunder, but I am just a World of Tanks guy now. In Wot I would suggest to play as a support tank and only move in with your team..

What do you like about WoT over War Thunder. I am interested to know because all the gameplay I have seen of WoT it makes it look less sim like. Can you confirm that though. Good suggestion of being a support tank though.

Yes, Wot is more of an arcade game. WT is the simulation tank game for sure.

WoT does not pretend to be realistic while having some "realistic" elements.

Warthunder pretends to be realistic but still is full of bullshit(like WoT).

As for tip to play Jagdpanther... Don't get shot and engage from long range, but from the side(as in not between your enemy and your spawn point).

I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...

It's a tank destroyer with a great cannon, so just stay behind your team in a defensive position, and try to snipe some tanks long range. Check the armour thickness in the menu, and look for weak spots so you know in what position to stand. I guess for that tank it's diamond position.
