Moto G (2nd gen) Android Problem...

Hey everyone!

 

I have a Moto G 2nd gen. and it works decently...until some extremely annoying happens. For no apparent reason at all, Android 4.4.4 acts weird and every touch registers lower than it actually is. For example, if I tap near the bottom of the letter "t" on the keyboard, it will think I tapped the letter "g" which is right below "t". In addition to this, I'll be unable to slide down the notification bar. This annoying problem goes away on its own.

 

I've reformatted my device and the problem still occurs. Any ideas?

Sounds like a problem with the touchscreen connections.

 

Strangely enough, we just got a Moto G 2nd gen today so we could have a stock android phone.

My 2nd gen MG doesn't have this issue, so it's likely a hardware-related issue with yours.

Most likely a hardware issue. RMA it, see what they can do.

I've already had it for a while...

If it was hardware though, why would it only happen sometimes?
