-----What to?---------------------------------------

GUzmani

Chosing between 2 builds first one is:

1:\ Intel core i3  4160 --- Amd r7 260X 2GB ddr5

2:\Amd FX 8320 --- Amd r7 260X 1GB ddr5

3:\Amd FX 6300 --- Amd R9 270X 2GB ddr5

4:\Amd 4350 at 4.8 Ghz --- Amd r7 260X 2GB ddr5

Considering that i like multitasking.

The first one, by far.

Single core performance is far more important than multi core performance, especially for gaming.

What's your overall budget?

Sig under construction.

1. Gaming.
2. Multitasking, But you should try to get a 2gb version, 1gb doesnt really cut it.

it would almost be a good idea to spend a little less on cpu and more on gpu

but in reality, considering your usecase, I'd actually have to say the 2nd build.

in light games, you wont see much of a difference, and if you like to task-whore, the 8 cores will serve you better.

Actually, I found something that would trump both.

FX 6300 ($90)

R9 280 ($170)

the i3 and the 2gb r7 260x, that i3 gives you much better single core performance which is what is needed for gaming and also an upgrade path on the lga 1150 socket, all in all a better gaming deal. the i3 has hyper threading so you wont be overly annoyed with your multi threading tasks and when you can affford it buy an i7 that destroys the fx series cpu's

CPU-i5 4690k 4.4ghz @ 1.190V, MOBO-MSI z97 gaming 3, Cooler-hyper 212 evo, GPU- r9 290x asus directcuII (-37Mv), Storage-120gb v300(switching soon), 1tb caviar blue, CASE-Red/black h440, PSU-Antec TPC 650.
