Hi everyone,

I am very new to the whole idea building PCs and I recently decided to go all out and build my own gaming PC but had a few concerns about cooling. I plan on using the following

CPU: i7 5820K

GPU: 2 MSI GTX 980 in SLI

Motherboard: MSI X99S Gaming 9 AC

RAM: 32 GB G.SKILL RIPJAWS Z Series

Storage: Samsung 850 Pro SSD (256GB and 1TB)

Cooling (concern): Corsair H110 CPU Cooler

PSU: Corsair RM1000

Case: NZXT H440

I do not plan on any overclocking atm because of my lack of knowledge on the subject. My main concern is my PC overheating due to using sli in a mid tower case. I like the look of the H440 but I am willing to get a bigger case for better performance if need be. Are there any better cooling options than what I plan to use? I also had a question on whether Noctua or Corsair case fans perform better. Anyone willing to give me advice please do so and thank you

Try these fans, many have praised how quiet they are and how much air they draw in and how much air they push out. I just ordered 3 of them but in white. But before you do that, try removing the front and top panels and see where the temperatures go. Make sure there is good push/pull pressure

airflow is everything. The H440 isn't exactly built for high airflow, but with some decent fans like the ones mentioned above you'll be fine. Just don't sandwich the cards directly together. Btw, if you're actually going to build that beast make sure to take pictures and post a build log  ;)
