I just converted by brother to the pcmr with the PAX demo of star citizen, and he wants a pc.

I'm trying to make it small enough to look like a console so the switch is easier for him.

He knows absolutely nothing about hardware and his birthday's coming up, so I want to get him this:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($188.95 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock H97M-ITX/AC Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($89.99 @ Micro Center)
Storage: Sandisk Solid State Drive 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($47.99 @ NCIX US) + some old 500gb seagate drive
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 290 4GB PCS+ Video Card  ($282.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Silverstone RVZ01B Mini ITX Desktop Case  ($79.99 @ Directron)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit (OEM) (64-bit)  ($92.00 @ B&H)
Total: $1050.55
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Budget is around 1000 USD with OS and keyboard/mouse
Wi-Fi is a must, becuase no matter how much I tell him ethernet is better he says it's too old fashioned (damn console peasants)
Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions?

It's OCable, has a liquid cooler, pretty small, but you have to buy your own SSD....
NVM forgot it had an SSD

He's a bit of a sucker for aesthetics and he probably won't like having a PC that looks like a microwave on his desk. I'd also like for him to have an SSD

He's been a console pea- owner for the past few years and wants a small form factor case that's aesthetically similar to an xbone.

I also noticed there isn't any mass storage?
