I loved Farcry 4, although the story in my opinion wasnt as good.

If you have Far Cry 3, don't get 4.

Playing it right now actually. Kyrat is gorgeous and Pagan Min is interesting, but I hear that he doesn't make an appearance until the very end of the game. If that's true, then yea the story probably sucks.

Story was shit , but I made up for that with countless explosions and laughing my ass off at Eagles carrying off pigs into the sky. Meanwhile not noticing the honey badger right behind me that kills me because there stupidly hard to kill

I had great FPS according to FRAPS, but it stuttered like hell.

 

Also FarCry 3 in the mountains ;-)

the eagles man, if you replaced the animals with dinosaurs it would be a modern Turok. I played a lot when it stuttered, it seems better now. haven't beat it, a lot of what you do can get really repetitive but, fun still. I don't want to climb towers anymore!!!

Personally I don't think the story was that bad, more like just boring, I had a much bigger problem with the fact that out of all the fun and cool characters in the game, we majorly interacted with the two most boring ones, namely Sabal and Amita. I really liked Pagan Min, Longinus, the two potheads, Chiffon, that crazy Chinese bitch, and probably one or two more I can't remember. I'd much rather join Uncle Pagan on some awesome crazy shenanigans than helping the Golden Path.

 

The pacing felt very weird, like every villain got two moments each and always died in the second one.

There were also some smaller issues, like when the starting area is restricted by two trucks blocking the way, you can use a car to jump over them, but that will result in the game sending you back for NO REASON AT ALL. Something else that annoyed me intensely was outpost attacks, they don't matter for shit, it's a waste of time because you don't affect the outcome in any way whatsoever.

 

That being said, I had a lot of fun with it and think it's a great game. For those ones who have played Far Cry 3 and is considering it, it's basically the same game in different colors, so unless you just want more of the same, it's not really worth the full price.

I don't like the terrible stuttering in FC4. It's unplayable. It negates all the positive things, if there are any.

Ya sadly it's a major reoccuring issue on Ubisoft 2014 games. Watchdogs, AC unity, FC4. Only the Crew worked properly.

I loved the story, I thought it was awesome. The stutter wasn't too bad for me. Maybe it was worse at launch?
