Is this true!?!?!?!?

Go to solution Solved by KamiKatze,

I heard that 2 r9 270 in SLI are better than one R9 290 for playing BF4?

Is that true?

Raw FPS wise probably yes. But it comes with the usual crossfire problems.

Rule of thumb is to rather go with one better card than two slower ones in Crossfire.

I run SLI 680s...your fps numbers can sore...at times I hit 200 in bf3/4, my second card gave me about 80% increase in fps ....buuuuuuuut its not consistent performance. alot of games have little gain, some have no gain..some even perform worse, you are better off getting the best card you can afford right now, maybe grab a second one used down the road its what I did.

ALWAYS GO SINGLE OVER DOUBLE.

You only go double,.. if your already have one of the cards, and are not going to step up to another flagship product, but wanna extend your performance without breaking the bank again.!

Usually......

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
