Indeed. It should still turn on though.

depends on the specific board so check the manual

I forgot about this since I believe there was a bios update for 1150 for the CPU compatibility for some of the newer revised ones yeah? If it's an older motherboard model that might be required. I don't have 1150 so I can't be sure.

So I woke up this morning and pulled everything out and built just the little bit back on the motherboards static sheet and pulled one memory out at a time and it still won't work, so what should I try next

I didn't notice that lol, usually people get 1600Mhz D:

So would if I replaced it with different ram then what do I do

The ram is 1866Mhz and your board only supports 1600Mhz max. If you could get into your motherboard bios and underclock the ram it might work? Idk I have never done it before. However you might need to replace the RAM with 1600Mhz, the performance will be the same.

Do you have a case mic that comes with, I think, the mobo as then you can get error codes and trouble shoot from there - try only putting one stick of ram in to see if there's a fault with the RAM - that's what it was for me!

It Won't Fail Cause of Me.

Unplug any spinning drives, optical drives or SSDs. Does it boot now?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
