I never understood what difference does high en ram do. I tried budgeting a rig with the i5 4690k but i prefer having more cores (even though i know intel is stronger per core) so i can run more processes on the back.

The 8350 will be outperformed in litteraly everything...

If your really need 8 cores/ threads get a 4790K. It can multitask more than the 8350.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

You can check Linus' video about high frequency vs. low frequency RAM. The 4690k still dominates the 8350 in multitask. :)

The thing is i have a 1000 dollar budget can't really go out for a 4790k plus i only do very light multithreaded applications use.

I'll make a list later today but it's 5 in the morning but all I can day is get an i5. Amds fx CPUs are terrible now and lose single core performance to a Intel core 2 duo.

Yeah i knew that Amds cpus are not as strong. Take your time i will be checking this for whatever you guys are recommending. Thanks!

I have read some positive stuff about the RM series. What is wrong with it?

Long story short, it's a waste of money. EVGA 750G2 is cheaper and performs much better.

The reason why we recommend to go with intel is because you have the budget for it. Intel is more stronger and more powerful, it doesn't matter if its multi work loads or single light work loads..it will outperform a 8350.... that would be like you have ten thousand dollars.. and you want a car that has air conditioning and lets say front wheel drive...sure you can purchase a honda with that money or you could I don't know if a mustang was on sale. Which comes with more features and the ones you wanted.... untimely intel has a better upgrade path, and stronger cores which makes light work loads a nice breeze. If anything intel is more bang for your buck with this budget you have.

NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER STOP LEARNING. DONT LET THE PAST HURT YOU. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT

AMD because i have little money for intel, i think AMD gives me a more bang for the buck.

For what you'd spend on the FX-8350, you can get a better i5. The 8350 is not a good price/performance gaming CPU.

Yeah im starting to see some flaws i made on the decision making for this computer. And yeah you're right, on the long run intel will be a better option.
