I own one with Brown switches.

They are really solid, with less flex than my shine 3, comes with a nice braided cable too.

The 'lock' LEDs are very bright, but you could paint over them or dissassemble the board and put blu-tack over the LEDs if it bothers you.

The lighting is simple, if you want the arrow keys active there's no way to have all the backlight LEDs off.

Good board, awesome for the price.

Don't forget to follow your own thread my friend!

Cooler Master's keyboards are among the best budget options, if not THE best. Used keyboards are a great idea IMO because it's very easy to find them in perfectly good condition for not a lot of money. Just make that, before you buy it, that you want Cherry MX Red switches as most do not like to type on them. They are very light, actuate very fast, you cannot feel the actuation and feel like air. Great for gaming, yes. They can be great for typing for the right person, although it's rare that most prefer to type on reds,

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Yea, basically not getting the right keyswitch is a deal breaker whether or not you like your keyboard. So if you get one you may not like then you may not like typing or using it at all. Check STRMfrmXMN's quote thing under his post about keyswitches.

I'm actually editing the quiz to be much more complex as I type this ;)

I'd only recommend it if you really need the number pad, but still need the smaller keyboard. If you don't need the numpad/need the smaller keyboard, a standard tenkeyless would be fine.

Isn't it the size of a tenkeyless?

Yes the white leds have this striking look so especially in my case I turned the brightness way wayyy  down ;)

Pretty noisy because I haven't owned a mechanical keyboard but totally loving the typing experience xD
