External Sound Card for Linux

I got tired of using Apples OS on the iMac i was given at work, so i installed Ubuntu on it.

 

Its external speaker works fantastic, however i could not get the internal headphone jack to work. I did all the hacks i could find, but nothing worked.

 

So, does anyone know of a good USB-interface Sound Card? It must work with Linux, but that shouldnt be a problem because most things work pretty well with it.

almost every DAC will work.
