If you have a PSU at least at 450 watts you should be fine in that end.

It's not enough power..

Wrong. For boot/desktop in needs like 10-20W.

Do you have proof of this.. I know my gpu and fans and cpu all run full speed when I boot.. It takes like 5 watts per case fan lol..My 3570k uses 50 watts by it self on idle lmao.

Plus there is not enough amps on the 12 volt rail on a 250 watt psu..

Does the board have onboard video? Pull the card out and see if it fires up, if it does, reseat the GPU and have another go, make sure all power plugs in the card are plugged in, a 250w PSU may not have the 6/8pins required. If it doesn't... PSU might be drawing too much on start up...

yep hopefully its my psu cause i already bought a replacement that will be here in a few days and will save me the shipping of the rma of the vid card

and re-seating isnt working iv even pulled my system from the case and box mounted it too make sure my case wasnt the problem

also yes everything goes fine without the car installed and with it (except no display of course) on-board vid and my little amd 6570 and ati 4350 work fine but both of those dont require additional power from the psu

well got my new psu today and no dice but it wasnt the real problem the problem is my mobo is pcie x16 1.1 and its a 3.0 card and ii was able to foind some one to let me test it in their rig and it works just fine

PCI-E 3.0 cards are backwards compatible with PCI-E 1.0 and 2.0. Are you sure the slots are working properly on your board?

yes i am i am still using my old 6570 in it witch is pci e 2.1 while i wait on my new mobo and idk but asus who made both the vid card and my mobo said 3.0 will not work on 1.0 it could just be their own built in limitation but im not sure all i know is i did validate what they told me when i tested it in 3 boards mine with 1.0 and 2 of a friends 1 with 2.0 and 1 with 3.0 and only time the card didnt work was on 1.0 also i think it goes card-wise 1 in 1  , 2 in 2 or 1   , 3 in 3 or 2 but slot-wise its fully back compatible is what they explained to me
