Can I get some game FPS reviews regarding an R7 260X GPU. This will also be a reference point for those who want to get an R7 260X as well.

If you are gaming on a R7 240 you're doing it wrong.

I kid but it is pointless to buy. There are much better options.

Can't seem to find lower than R7-250 called gaming on a 1080p.

 

As far as I know, R7 is for optimized gaming though...

Yea for sure. I just checked prices and here in Canada the cheapest R7 240 i could find is $65 at newegg + $15 shipping + tax = $89.60.

 

I've found HD 5850's used for around $45-55 that would completely destroy a R7 240 in a gaming comparison. You can even find used 7770's, 7790's, 7850's at and under that price.

It was the only option for my needs and at the price point, the GT730 wasn't available at the time.

What is this for btw? Were your planning on buying a 260X? Or just wanting to compile some benchmarks to show how well it performs? There are other variables like resolution, RAM and CPU that should probably be mentioned.

A mix of both. I'll be buying 260X, and at the same time will compile benchmarks to contribute to the forums...
