hey so I have ordered all my parts  and was just wandering if I did not screw up here ( although I doubt I did)

CPU core i5 4670k

Motherboard MSI z87-gd65

Memory Crucial ballisitcs  8gb

Power Supply Rosewell hive 650w

Case: coolermaster haf 212

GPU: (not sure don't have the money at the moment suggestions ?)

heatsink: coolermaster hyper 212 evo

storage Seagate  2tb (main storage)

                             Seagate 750  gb (for games)

Samsung 840 120 gb  (for os)

so yeah that is my build,  any thoughts or advise ?  one thing everyone is grilling me on is my power supply; they all say 650 w is too low, yet I only plan  to use a single gpu (for the time being)

Depends on what you intend to do with your rig.

If you want a gaming rig, you could reconfigure this setup to get a decent GPU.

Hard to tell if it's any good if we don't know what you are doing with it^^

sorry I  will use it for both gaming and some 3d art ( I use blender) and working in gimp,

mind you I don't have the money for a 780 and a 770 would take me about a month or so to save up  for, I also hear the computing ability for the geforce series is crippled which bothers me

Whats the budget right now?  I recommend going an AMD FX series CPU and then getting a 760.  APU's aren't that great for gaming
