Kraken 41x or 61x for Corsair 760T?

Zah

I am currently deciding between these two, and my main worry is that if I ever put the top over the case for any reason, my CPU will just die with the 61x.  However, a 41x will never be as good as a 61x.  Any opinions on this?

No, your CPU will not die.

Up to you, both are great. Run the X41 as rear intake, with front and bottom intake fans and top exhaust only.

Check the reviews of the X41, it's on par with high-end air cooler like the NH-D15 and it beats out most 240mm AIO's..

It's an exception to the rule.

I have. Yes it performance okay, but the noice level is up with the rest of 120/140mm AIO.

Wouldn't call the above mentioned performance, okay.. but sure. It's not like the bigger 240mm and 280mm AIO's are any quieter with their pumps and crappy stock fans.

Only ones that come close for me are the CM Nepton 240M and Nepton 280L.

Short from doing a full custom loop, I prefer air coolers over AIO's myself.
