I recently bought : Gskill F3-2666C11Q-16GTXD.I can go in BIOS without any problem after enabling XMP profile. But can't boot windows or make a clean install. BSOD while booting or when trying to reinstall. I just don't get it. On Gskill website my mobo is supported and on EVGA website the RAM is supported. What am I doing wrong. I'm just putting in XMP profile #1 in bios and leaving everything in auto mode. I was able to boot with XMP profile with only 1 stick of 4gb. Any of them will boot if there is only one plugged in. At the moment I put 2 or more DIMM I just can't boot. I'm running the ram now at 1866mhz (8-9-8-24 at 1.658v) and it runs fine. I would like to make it work at 2666mhz instead. Any ideas???

What is the command rate (CR) of your RAM? I had a similar problem with my rig and all it too was to set it up to 1T, it was originally at 2T. Give it a try and it might just work out for you. However, do a test with Memtest86+ multithread preset to make sure that your RAM runs correctly and your PC is not going to crash, since you will be running it completely out of spec. Not that this might require some additional volts.

No luck and now it's even worst. I get error 55 on display and it means: no memory installed. Im stuck in an infinite loop of restarting. Can't get any ram to work anymore with xmp profile without changing the command rate. Im just hoping it's not the board itself.

ok so you can get one stick to boot at 2666 with xmp loaded and all 4 sticks at 1866.

i think you need to focus on getting two sticks to boot at 2666

have you tried to manually input 2666mhz Timing 11-13-13-35-2T 1.65V and leave xmp disabled

id try that first if no sucess then try 1.7V

XMP is a suggestion not a specification

Intel specifics DDR3-1333MHz as the official maximum supported RAM speed.

Anything beyond is overclocking the Integrated Memory Controller (IMC) in the CPU. At that point, you are testing your Silicon luck. Many are able to get 1600 / 1866 / 2133 working, but with 2666MHz, really slim.

Ok I am now able to boot with all four sticks of ram but... It's not stable at all. Windows doesn'T crash but any games or aida64 torture test or prime95 doesnt run for 15 seconds without crashing. I can play a game for about 10 minutes and the game crash. It's really not stable. I was playng with the voltage of the IMC controller but not sure if I need to push up the RING too and the CPU voltage too. Tonight ill try those test with only 2 sticks and see if it'S more stable then with 4. I hope ill be able to make it work with stability cause if not this RAM wasn'T worth the money I putted in.
