how to overclock cpu?

i was going to buy a msi radeon m9 290

 

but i hear it cause a lot of bottlenecking in my pc (because i have only fx4300)

 

so i wanted to know how to over clock my amd fx-4300

 

and can u tell me what is the mac overclock on this cpu

You can OC that cpu to 5.5 GHZ and it will still bottleneck a 290.

You might want to begin looking at upgrading your entire rig. You are fine now but the question is for upcoming games. Bf4 is beginning to get old.

You can buy it now and play bf4 without problems , and yeah enable mantle it will help.

 

I played bf with a phenom II at 60 fps easily.

There is no reason not to enable mantle especially with lower CPUs
