Switching From Intel 2 AMD - Boot Problems Possible?

Hi guys,

 

 

I am hoping to in a couple of months swap my AMD MB and CPU for intel (4790k, asrock z97 extreme 6) and i have heard this can cause problems for booting into windows? Is the version of windows i installed linked to my MB? Should i just be able to do a straight swap and just fire it up into windows all fine?

Depends, did you use oem version of windows or retail?

I used dell install disk for vista then upgraded it with a dell disk to windows 7?
