It's hard to wrong with HD558 at $90. I'd take used K612 ($130) over HD558 but most likely you'll need to spend additional money on amp

why to get an amp?

Here check this headphone 150$ which may get you with some idea.

Are the sony ones good?

Any particular reason you're interested in the V1 over other headphones?

becuse they are like little tanks and they are great

Simply because the AKG is inefficient, it's only 120ohm but it's very insensitive (means low dB of sound reproduction per watt)

MDR7506 and M40x are good choices, I'd recommend M40x over MDR7506 if you're going to use it for portable as it has removable cable and foldable

Technically, there is no such thing as 'gaming headphones'. Audio is audio, and good audio is well...good. Few members here have been using something like HD800, LCD-2, etc for gaming...

612 is nice, maybe not for you, M40x is always a safe bet, SRH440 is nice too.

I'd buy them if the DT 880 didn't exist.

Beyer DT cans are pretty tough, but I'd get the M40x or SRH440 for le portability.

But sadly HD600 and HE-400 do exist too

The DT 880 is obviously better than the HD 600. Lower distortion than the HE 400, too.

First sentence was laughable, a facepalm isn't enough as a respond for the second sentence

That was the goal. Point is I bought the DT 880 instead of the K612; not saying it's the best because that would be dumb.

So I ended up between those:

1) Audio Technica M50x black

2) Berrydynamics DT 990

3) Mayflower electronics V1

Please I need a quick answer
