I would recommend that you tried "Recover my files". It's a good program and it has worked great for me so far.

It takes some time but who cares if you get all of your files back? :) (You will need the full version)

http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ - You know how to get it. (lalala)

Seems recuva is only for formatted drives, i'm running Paragon Partition Manager now, but its damn slow, though it found 2 recoverable partitions both of which i had a backup of, still searching for the lost one. If PPM fails il try your suggestion, thanks :)

Recover my files seems to work, but after 4 hours of searching its lagging like crazy (performs a search every 5 sec's or so) at this rate it will take years.

Something wrong with your connection ?

Run the damn cable :)

  • 3 weeks later...

I've tried some other software, but like PPM they just only find the system reserved and my C:\ partition, but cannot find the one that i had my stuff on it.

Any other ideas ?

I don't know if it's suited for your needs, but maybe file scavenger could do the trick?

It saved my ass once when i got a nasty virus that made my hdd appear as if it was empty. Maybe it will work for this too.
