Hello,

I am planning on building a mini itx rig thats completely watercooled (Ram,CPU,GPU,Hardline). Since theres only one PCI slot, I need one card that will exceed the standard, without costing me a fortune. This card will be running three monitors so It needs to be able to handle that. Also, I need to be able to buy a waterblock for it, most likely EK. I am also willing to overclock the card so thats a factor. Also, I would buy a used card as well because I have done that before so any discontinued cards are on my list as well. It depends on the card but I am willing to spend around $400 to $500. Any suggestions on cards.

As a side note, can I use dual GPU cards like the 295x2 or the 690 on a mini itx board. If so Ill skip this question and buy one of those two cards.

Thanks,

~Arctic

Is that a computer or a jet engine? Why not both?

You could use a dual gpu on a mini-itx case but it all depends on you case

Cases like the 250D and pridogy won't support such a large card.

Maybe the 250D but not sure

@ArcticfoxHQ

Assuming you have enough space for the tubing and enough rad+fan clearance then the R9 295x2 can be used

I found this while looking around. Fairly decent deal for a 780 with a water block if you ask me.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zotac-GTX-780-with-EKWB-waterblock-/231469522014?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35e4a89c5e

Or else you can look into getting either a R9 290x/GTX 970 and buy a water block separate.

I'm doing a scratch build case. I have as much room or slots as i want but i just want the form factor to remain small.

Is that a computer or a jet engine? Why not both?

So wait I can use the card if I have enough space?

The main issue with the R9 295x2 is the length of the card. Almost 31cm, or just over 12 inches.

There are blocks for the card (if you don't want to use the cooling solution that comes with the card).

I can afford the card and the block. I also have the space. But can my mother board properly use the card?
