As a person from a country who they ship to who is outswide US, you really dont, I was going to buy 8GB of RAM and it would cost around £100 rather than £60

I feel like an idiot, I bought a 840 EVO 120GB for $90 a few weeks ago.

I've considered importing GPUs from the US, given that the 290X Lightning costs about £180 more here than it does in the US.

Maybe some one could buy it in the U.S. and then mail it to you. Depending on the retail price where you are, residential postage could be worth it.
