Hello guys
I am going to buy 2 fans for my side panel, and I would like to know your opinion in which fans should I buy.
I like Noctua fans, but they are a bit expensive, the other option is Corsair fans, but I think they are a bit noisy
Any advice? :D

The Be Quiet! 120mm fans are on the pricey side, but are good looking, silent, and push a decent amount of air. http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=80363

it really comes down to one factor.
Do you care about how it looks?
If yes, get corsair or any other quality brand (I got noiseblockers 80mm in my case and for an 80mm fan its really quiet)
If not, Noctua.

I think I am going to buy the corsair dual pack, but I don't know which ones should I get, the SP or AF, I want the fans to cool down my graphic card, because it gets very hot.

The Af fans are for casefans while the SP are for cpu heatsinks and radiators.

What case are you using? Is the side panel where the fan is mounted a bit restricted? If so go with the Corsair SP 120's if not go with the Corsair AF 120's.

Silverstone AP

Cougar HDB

Gelid Silent

Noctua F12

Corsair SP Quiet

Xion Alphawing

Those fans are nice and quiet with good static pressure with price points in no particular order.

The orientation (intake or exhaust) depends. If you have an open styled cooler and you use them as an intake you might get even worse temperatures. You might need to use them as exhaust to dispel the heat away from the GPU. Just experiment.

I have this case http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=10031, I am going to remove the front fans and replace them on the top(exhaust), and I will buy 4 new fans, 2 SP120 for the front(intake), and 2 AP120 for the side panel(intake)

What you guys think of that?

Or for side panels like that just get some low speed Yate Loons( I know I know, I have just fallen in love with how good they are  ) anything fast will be loud.

More opinions?

That case has pretty big holes you could get the Corsair AF120's or SP120's Performance or Quiet edition it'ss up to you. I like performance over quietness.

silverstone ap122 all around would be nice and reasonably quiet and at 5$ each they re quite cheap.

(they got less static pressure than ap121 but for case fan duties it would be fine(even with a filter in front))

they re directional too so all the rated cfm will go where you want it to as opposed to all over the place like other fans

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.
