Would a 760k (4.7 Ghz) be a HUGE bottleneck for a 760? Is the 760 better than the 270X? How far up could I go in terms of GPU horsepower?

No. a 760K overclocked can handle up to a 290 in AAA titles, or up to a 280 if you play other more lightly threaded games.

 

Also 270X and 760 are about the same, get whichever's cheaper.

But is my OC high enough? It's only 4.7 Ghz, and on AMD Overdrive it shows the Thermal Margin in the high 40's and low 50's under load (Tomb Raider benchmark, it's the highest graphical game I own) And my room is about 12 celcius. Is that thermal margin OK?

That's really good. My CPU isn't even overclocked and it gets hotter then that under load.

Well, I think it's cause my parents are stingy and wont put the room temp above 12 c... But would the OCbe high enough for that? The idle temp is around 60 c in thermal margin... is that ok?

Also, is a 960 as good as a 270X? I kinda wanna keep GeForce Experience, and the fact that i have a shield.

A 960 is about 20% faster than the 270x.
