well man im at 2k is the 780ti better than the 970?

AMD's R9 300 series is coming out soon so you could wait and see what AMD has to throw out on the table. The the R9 380X will more than likely break your budget. You could go with Crossfire R9 290's for around $470 which will max out CS:GO with a steady 300+ FPS. Really you would only need one of them to run these games as they aren't all that demanding. Here's a video of a single R9 290X holding ~200 FPS.

If CS:GO and Minecraft type of games are all that you play then you don't need anything massive to reach the 144 FPS mark.
