Wireless Cards

Go to solution Solved by LasersPewPew,

There shouldn't be any issues as long as you have the proper drivers installed and granted the card fits in the slot. The Ethernet and Wireless chips are not tied together so one does not affect the other.

Hey guys, I have a laptop that doesn't have bluetooth and an old laptop that does. I want to take the wirelss card out of the old computer and put it in the new one. They're both 802.11bgn. The new laptop though has a Realtek ethernet controller and realtek wirelss LAN driver and the old computer has Atheros. Aside from installing the necessary drivers, is there any other issues that I should encounter here? Thanks for your answers!
