Hello guys,so,i want to ugrade to a new GPU that is power efficient, cool and such for longer lifetime,i was wanting to go with a GTX960 (Best solution for my budget around 290 euros),BUT i have an FX-4100 which a lot of people say is a huge bottleneck for any newer higher-end graphics card,so i started looking up for some processors and mobo's,and in my price range the i5-4460 (220 euros) is okay, but i'd like that some any other i5 was cheaper...So,i was hoping if an overclock on my CPU would make up for the bottleneck or is it just impossible to get the best out of the GTX 960 with a FX-4100

No matter high you realistically overclock the FX4100 it'll still bottleneck the 960 most of the time, pretty severely too.

i5-4440 and H81 motherboard or i5-4460 and H97 motherboard are both the best price:performance CPU/motherboard options for gaming imo.
