If you like the faster style of gameplay, it's great.

If your a Battlefield PURIST, you'll hate it!

Note - The following text isn't to compare COD with BF, just the 'speed' factor that 'run n gunners' love!

 

 

Esp since COD:PC always dies in the ass with it's population count hugely diminished after just a month, let alone the first 6 months... let alone the 'consolitus' features that never get the proper PC changes

COD is basically a console cashcow, no regards to the PC, but ALL THOSE PC PLAYERS, who love fast gameplay, but who don't like Titanfall, may love Hardline.

How is BF3 > BF4? 

In my opinion, BF4 is just a flat out improvement upon BF3. Both are really good though

 

 

On topic: I like BFHL, but the maps are a bit stale. I wish there were more aerial vehicles, though I guess that's not what the game is about.

Was gonna down load it but decided to save myself the time a place a preorder for it (don't kill me people its my money) looks more like gameplay I will enjoy unlike BF4 were it was all about long range battles vs CQB.

I've really enjoyed it so far, the sound assets are really nice. I love sniping in this game, AWM + magnum round + RDS = OMG. However one thing I don't like is how easy heli's are to take down, take damage from practically all gun fire. 

 

Heist seems like a mess of a mode, most the time I play it I'm playing with complete retards and we lose so quickly. I'm really enjoying hotwire. However I preferred blood money from the original beta, don't know why. 

 

The easter egg reload animations are awesome, can't wait until a do one, shame it's only a 1/10,000 chance of it happening, I was hoping it would be more than that like 1/1000. 

 

 

Overall I think the game is solid, can't wait to see what they have done with the single player aspect, as visceral games are much better story tellers than DICE imo. 

 

HOWEVER 1 THING I HATE IS THE FUCKING FLINCHING IT'S SO DAMN UNPREDICTABLE

I'll be honest, I was nay-sayer and I'm eating my words so far. Heist on Bank Job is way too much fun. I hope the other maps live up to it. Definitely not your usual Battlefield. I'll be watching GMG for a pre-order discount.

The police/criminal theme still seems extremely half-baked and unconvincing to me, but I think I like the gunplay much better than BF4. I'm getting rather irritated by the Battlefield "Premium"-centric business model though, and I don't think I'm going to be buying this one at launch or at full price.

Like i said in the OP. If you enjoyed Bad company 2 you will love this game. I'm actually going to preorder a server for opening day. Only 48 dollars

I actually got that Easter egg animation where the guy hands you a new mag.  didn't have shadow play on though .

 

I like the hotwire mode.

I dont know if I like it. My favourite must be bf3 and I really enjoy its simplicity compared to hardline. Why? Because of the little things like charakter movement, the animation when you sprint really bothers me, the way he holds the gun...I dont enjoy hardline as much as I want to because of those things.

Hotwire- its a hit and a miss at the same time. It has a lot of potential and I really enjoy it but c4 traps and grenade launchers are game breaking for me. Then again, how could u stop a vehicle if a guy is repairing it? So yeah, I would keep the grenade launchers because they do require some skill but those c4 campers must go imo.

Graphics- am I dumb/blind or do I think that even bf3 has better graphics? Yes, the textures and things like trees are more detailed in hardline but I miss things like those scratches on the gun (mainly in bf3). I stil remember how blown away I was when I saw the gameplay trailer from bf3 when you sprinted across the road in the 2nd mission (operation sword breaker I think) and the lightning effects were displaying the gun's scratches so accuratelly it blew my mind. It still does today. I dont get such a feeling from hardline

I am really enjoying Hardline. I enjoy variety and will still play BF3 and BF4. I like the zipline concept in Hardline. They make for a quick rescue and escape plan.
