Up to £3000 Pre-built.

I am making this post for a friend, he is wanting to get a new PC and does not know anything about them. He originally was going to buy a £3000 Alienware computer but luckily i saved him from that. I can not build one for him because he lives quite far away from me so he is buying Pre-Built. His aim is to be able to run all games on max settings and he has up-to £3000 to spend, what i want is for people to find me the best pre-built that fits these circumstances and one that is not a complete rip-off like alienware.

Main application - Mostly gaming with the odd video edit

Preferences - Intel + Nvidia

Colour scheme - Preferably blue but this does not matter.

He is located in the UK, thanks :)

Try finding something with a i7 4790K and a GTX 980. The rest is pretty much variable.

Keep in mind that price/performance is usually bad with brebuilts though.

who cares...

Yeah i hate how he has to buy pre-built and i have been telling him to get a 980 when he was talking about getting a titan Z.

Yeah those are decent sites, although i hate the lack of component choices you get. I will tell him to have a look at them.

find an ltt member near him that loves to build pcs and let them build it share the joy of new shiny things or go to scan and look at their 3xs machines, they are competitively priced, or call me, im in the uk and can ship a guaranteed build to him :) no build cost , just love building machines. take a look at my gallery for some of the work that i have done and i am a registered company in the uk :) many suggestions and i will probably be abused for this post but ho hum, depending on where he is in the uk you could get him in contact with me and i could build the machine to his custom specs :)

I personally like overclockers...
Could be because of their great service, or the fact that they give you a pack of haribos with your order...

I would suggest Overclockers UK as well. They build some nice pc's on there site.

Are you a member on OCUK Forums ? If not then sign up on the forum and start a thread on there. I am always online over there and there are a bunch of other folks who will more than likely chip in as well.

You can select any parts from Overclockers and they will build it for you. That way you are not limited to the configurator type build. They usually charge around £60+ depending on the spec.

Does your Friend also need a Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard ?
