I've got $1100 USD to spend on a laptop, and I was wondering, what is the best way to spend my money?

I do not want a gaming laptop, if I was to game I'd just game on my desktop. I'd love to have a touch screen on it but it is not necessary.

The laptop must have Windows on board. I'm looking for a laptop in the 12 - 15 inch display on the laptop that is at least 1080p.

So, what do you recommend for me?
