Razer's new 7.1 surround software

I'm admittedly a big razer fan boy and I know some if not most of the community doesn't agree with me on this, but I think they make pretty cool products and software.

With that being said I've been thinking of buying a headset for a while now and as much as possible I want it to be a Razer Headset.

A few months back I asked the community which is better actual Surround sound (like Razer's 7.1 Tiamat) or digital surround sound and most responded that Digital is that way to go.

Razer introduced a new software that is integrated to the Synapase 2.0 Config aptly named razer Surround. What I would like to find out is, Is it any good?

I currently run a 5.1 speaker system at home with SB Recon 3d and Logitech's z506 and the software is not really contributing anything. But I'm guessing these kinds of things are better with an actual headset.

BASICALLY IS THE SOFTWARE ANY GOOD? what are your experience and opinion with it? What Razer Headset would you suggest?

RAZER showed their true colors by producing and selling a "real" 7.1 headset.

sound is a wave they must be jedi masters of audio to not have those sound waves interfering with eachother in such a small enclosed space

that, or they are the biggest, dumbest clowns

that said I have a dislike for sound virtualizers like dolby headphone and EAX and SRS wow. however the razer one 7.1 doesn't annoy me as much as those other virtualizers so far. I am noticing some 'wonkiness' with the sound but I haven't spent that much time with it.

first impression: it seems better than dolby headphone and eax
