Hello to everyone.

I live in Germany and I want to build a desktop pc and i wanted to spend about 1500 Euro including monitor and keyboard with mouse.
I will use it to make videos from my gopro in 1080 resolution with powerdirector and I wanted to play cod or battlefield

I am newby in the world of pc building.

Could anyone suggest me what i should get ?

Excellent build, in my opinion! It should handle its purpose well! If I were to modify anything, I would put in 2 GTX 970s, just for the CUDA acceleration, which I believe some video editing applications could use. Although, with the VRAM issue, there is definitely merit to buying the R9 290. I also might swap the i5 4790K with a Xeon E3-1230 V3 (and maybe a less overclocking-centered motherboard), just for the hyperthreading (for video editing). But if they're planning on overclocking, the i5 would likely be a better fit. Again, either way, it should serve its purpose very well. I should also note that you most likely know more about building pcs than me, so take this with a grain of salt!

In terms of the monitor, although the build can likely support 4k to some extent, I'd say there's only room in the budget for a couple full HD monitors. I personally am fine with two 24" monitors, so if you'd like another size, let me know! I'd really like to recommend getting two of these from Asus, but I can't tell the refresh rate. The rest of the build should support 144hz gaming, and I would recommend taking advantage of that, even if it means only one monitor (like this one). A couple of things to look out for in the future for monitors are refresh rate (max. framerate), number of colors for some applications (powerdirector needs at least 16-bit, and both support 24-bit), latency (measured in ms; 1-3 ms is a good range for gaming), and contrast ratio (generally, the higher the difference between the two numbers, the better; these both have 80,000,000:1, which is on the higher-end). I have an Asus monitor with the same contrast ratio, and it's stunning). Other things, in my opinion, should only be heavily weighed in certain, special cases. There are some videos on TechQuickie (with Linus) on selecting a monitor, as well.

I don't know much about keyboard and mouse, but you're probably fine with a cheap version. There isn't much room left in the budget for a high-end mouse and keyboard. Granted they won't be nearly on the same level as the high-end Logitechs, but they should be alright. And you can upgrade them later on, if need be.

Thank you very much guys..! Honestly..

Is it better to have 2  GPUs of 330 euro or 1 of 650 euro..?

Thank you again!

The crossfire build will give you more performance no doubt.

Yes, like everyone was saying, I believe two 300 euro GPUs generally outperform a single 600 euro GPU. Regardless, all the GPUs we've listed are high-end, and even alone shouldn't have too much of a problem running 1080p 60fps on ultra (maybe with the exception of heavily modded Skyrim and games similar to that). Battlefield 4 in particular is pretty heavy on hardware, so you may be closer to mid 50s in terms of fps with only a single card. Definitely playable, but not ideal. Putting in two GPUs (through Crossfire or SLI) makes for a very powerful machine, of which I am envious of!

Another thing that I forgot to ask was, does your budget also include an operating system? If not, Windows 7 and 8 generally run from 80-100 USD (I guess 70-80 euros). Linux is also an option, and it's free. However, Linux can be a more difficult OS to learn, (although distros like Ubuntu or Linux Mint seem pretty easy to use) and often has compatibility issues (I don't think you can run powerdirector on Linux, for example). If we need to take 70-80 euros out of the budget for that, it may impact the build.

Again, all the builds and ideas mentioned on this thread make for a very good computer, regardless of exactly which one you pick.
