I've had this h100i for a while. I'm not sure when this began but my computer no longer detects it! I've disabled legacy in bios. I've tried all my usb headers. I've tried plugging it on to a port outside of my case. However, my computer still doesn't recognize it! I want to try the registry edit thing but I can't find the folder that everyone keeps talking about! Help!

This is what comes up with my Kraken x60(both the H100i and the Kraken x60 are Asetek based). It's the top one.

I don't know. It doesn't seem like it! 56e3decd97.png

T_T its the only way I can change LED.

Cooler itself, still working?...I'm using H100i as well, but I don't have any problem...if it's anything weird and you don't feel comfortable, then RMA it,Corsair offers pretty darn good customer service.

The cooler itself is still working! but Corsair Link doesnt detect it and I can change fan speed or led.

Is the cable damaged in any way?

Have you tried to update your device?I dunno, since I bought it I just plug in and installed the corsair link, checked for any updates,up to dated, and all sudden,it works fine...

IMO,As long as the cooler cools your cpu temps down,I won't bother too much about these software issues...

T_T its the only way I can change LED.

Configure the LED to the color of your choice and then uninstall it, i have a H100i too and did this, is set the LED to Blue and then uninstalled Corsair Link, i tought the LED would not work at all witouth the software but for my surprise the cooler itself has a "memory" on it and remembers the last configuration you set, and voilá! My LED is always blue, even without the Corsair Link software

And i use speedfan to control my fans, i dont have them connected to the pump but to a Y splitter and to my CPU fan header, better than Corsair Link IMO.

Seriously, dont force it to work as it should, it wont, i struggled an entire DAY to get my pump recognized by corsair link, once done this i set the led configuration and that was it, i instantly uninstalled that crap, if your worries are only for the LED, do what i said above, and use a splitter, you wont regret it  ;)

The thing is that it doesn't even connect to do that. It's not being connected detected no matter how I connect it. Usb header or io.

I don't think I've updated it since I got the cooler but now I can't even update it since it's not being detected.

Yeah. Just use it for your little LED and use something else to control fans. I just took off my link cable after configuring my LED.

Try this, sound pretty logical.

What i remember doing to get my cooler recognized was connecting and disconnecting the usb header on the MB on different ports (internal) when i first connected for the first time, it got recognized, and windows tried to search for software, then when i installed the corsair link it wasnt showing anymore, i tried all my internal USB ports (lacking of miniUSB to USB for external ports) untill it recognized the cooler, but a lot of reboots and installing and executing the software as administrator was involved

What i never tried was booting in safe mode and executing the software that way, you should do it and see if that helps in any way, do not despair, in the long term your cooler will show up, the only question, is when?  But when that happens, make sure you configure anything you want because doubtly you will have a second chance to do that once you reboot your system.

Just tried this and my LED turned off. Still not being detected. Can't find it in device manager either.
