Hello!

 

As you all saw in Linus' buildvideo he made on a silent pc he used the be quiet silent base 800 and the dark rock pro 3. He placed the dark rock pro 3 so that all the people with a little bit of OCD would be satisfied, just like me. Now my question is, if i do the same, but leave the fans on, will the fans be able to exaust the air through the top of the case without any fans mounted in the top? I'm planning to get the cooler anyway but i would like to know if the cooler will work efficiently when i mount it in the same direction Linus did. I love his videos and he always says you guys are great at solving problems so i thought: ''Let's give it a shot!''

As long as there are vents in the top of the case (which there are), the air will exhaust with no issues what-so-ever.

I'd still have a designated exhaust fan.
