The idea behind the Build

The idea has been around for quite a while. Sadly, I already couldn't
really put together my last build myself, due to my dwindling fine
motor skills and I see no reason why I would expect it to be any
different this time around. As a result there of I didn't spend too
much time thinking about computers for a while. However when the SFR
was revalued I realised that the time was right. Thanks to my truly
shite fine motor skills, I will be relying on my close relatives and
friends to help me doing the actual building of the system. I know
what needs to be done I began fiddling with my first computer when I
was 10 and by now I'm 23, but sadly my body is really letting me down
so as previously mentioned I will be relying on some help for the
actual building of the rig.

What I'll be using it for, is mainly as a multimedia center together
with a 100hz 46” Samsung LED TV. I'm slowly getting sick of having to
take my Laptop into a different room each time I want to use the TV.
Each time that I do so it's a lot of work and since I'm in a
wheelchair If I drop an external HDD, which there is a real chance of,
that's quite a loss.

I also plan on using it as form of a personal home wide cloud and as a
general storage system.

Since it will be located right next to the TV, it can't really have
too many LED's, although I like builds with lots of LED's. A PC shaped
disco ball would be way too distracting. Which is also why it needs to
be reasonably quiet, I doubt I can make it really silent, but I'll
give it a go.

As I don't really have fine motor skills, or a usable reaction time, I
don't really plan on using it for gaming, for the time being at least.
Other than a few good oldies from my past such as Empire Earth, Age of
Empires 2, Stronghold, Stronghold Crusader, Sims 3... and so on. Which
I'm hoping the Intel HD 4600 GPU can handle.

Since this is the first post to this build I wont go on about all the
components, most of them I picked very carefully I wish I had put more
thought into the PSU, but I'll give an explanation as to why later on
if the reason isn't obvious.

The visuals will be pretty simple other than the NZXT cooler the build
has no special LED's. Which in of it's self nearly kills me, I love
over the top whacky builds that look like an aliens mother ship has
landed on earth and is trying to hide. So basically it will just look
like a normal NZXT Phantom 530. since it will look so basic I have no
idea if anyone will care, but I thought I'd give it a go.

There will be Pics so don't abandon ship quite yet, if you haven't
already done so.

So far I have received the four HDD's and I just received three
packages I have yet to open. (they look like they're in good shape so fingers crossed that all is well.)

Well so far so good, everything that i received seems to be in one piece.

I'm still waiting for a few parts, some more fans etc. first off I need to do a test run to see if everything works, then will come the actual building :)

Sitrep.

Well I recieved 3 more fans yesterday. (Two more are cancelled as they would take ages to come). And the extra four black sata 3 cables are in the mail, just like the bluray burner and a second mx100 512gb for raid. I can't really start building till sunday when a friend has time.

if I'm honest I was hoping for a tiny bit more enthusiasm, I know it's not the flashiest build, But Ok.
