Well first, go uninstall anything she installed, and remove any extensions/addons that you didn't add or are suspicious about, and then do as flighterluid said and download Malwarebytes anti-malware, then do a full scan with it. (Warning, will take a few hours to complete)

run, hide and reinstall windows. That is what I do if my sister messes things up. Also it would be a good idea to get Avast, windows defender is $*&@#^%

If you want to do it manually, then open up the Task Manager and along with MSconfig and force stop the programs. And stop them from auto-starting all together.

Or else you can check if something like malwarebytes will help you out.

I would reinstall system.

Yeah, I had this happen a couple of times on the laptop I refurbished for my brother (I ended up removing the Wifi module so he couldn't download anything else), and a re-install of Windows ended up taking less time when compared to mucking around removing the bloatware the first time.

Disconnect from the internet pronto by unplugging the ethernet cable or turning off the wireless switch. The use another PC, if you have one to DL Outpost/kaspersky/webroot and install it and get rid of that shit. Also, you will need to check your internet adapter and make sure there is no Proxy set up. you might also want to do a DNS flush.

If the problem still persist do a clean install.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

Installing an Antivirus program will help too.

Malwarebytes and Avast are your best friend.

I'd also install AdBlock on her browser too. People are known to click fake ads.

Isn't that true, when I was at school someone clicked on one of those adds, and since I was the one using the computer before them I got the blame for the virus that was installed (it took down the entire school network, and even damaged a couple of backups).

Has your problem resolved? I also encounter this Taplika virus. It seems that Malwarebytes is really a good tool to deal with such computer viruses. If it works, I will try that. I googled and found some posts also show how to get rid of taplika. For example, I followed the manual steps in this post and uninstalled an unfamiliar extension from my Chrome but the problem is still there after I reboot Windows.
