OK so currently im making a new system in the £950 budget, ive pretty much decided on the zalman z11 plus hellfire 1 editiion case because despite its protruding cheeks i quite like the look of it with the red and the black etc etc, I dont want to waste any of my budget on a case so im looking at £60 max on the case itself and red and black is a nessacary. Is there a better case in that price range that meets my requirements or is the zalman z11 plus hf1 pretty much the best im gonna find. Any advice will be much apreciated thanks for taking the time to read this :)

What requirements.. The only spec you give us to find a case off of is your price range for your build, and the case you're currently considering. We'll need the height of the fan/heatsink to make sure a case has the clearance requirements, the amount of HDDs and SSDs, as well as optical drives. Then the size of your motherboard. All of these things are essential information for you to get a recommendation.

As far as my recommendations with the given information (or lack there of), I love Cooler Master's HAF series of cases, they're very roomy and have plenty of room for cable management. I currently have a HAF 912, and I love it. Corsair also has very nice cases, however, I've never owned one.

Antec also had some pretty awesome cases, but sadly, they've discontinued my favorite two series of cases. The Dark Fleet and LanBoy Air cases.

Without more information, I can't really give any better recommendations besides these without more specs from your system.

ok so currently im going for a gtx 970 i believe it runs in at 270mm im gonna run stock intel fan initiall and put a hypr 212 plus in soon after not using any 5.25inch drive slots 1 ssd and 1 hdd, an atx msi gaming 3 z97 mobo.

That haf case actually looks nice, what is the maximum length of gpu that can be placed into it?

I'm not sure, I want to say any card. There is a 3.5" drive cage that can be removed, but it doesn't have to be taken out. I have an 11" GTX 650 Ti BOOST Superclocked in mine now, and I still have a few centimeters with the drive cage still installed.
