Alright guys.

Just tubed up a new loop. CPU only, EK DCP 4.0 pump and a 80mm tick 360mm rad. Using 3/8"id 1/2od tube.

Got the loop tubed up, in the case and filled fine. Now the annoying part. I've been bleeding for like 3 hours. Which is ridiculous for a CPU only loop. :(. I've done all the normal things, tilt the case (and when i do, the radiator gargels like no ones business) and power cycled. I've even tried the bleed screws. No joy. The pump is loud as hell and i can hear so much water noise (ike gargle noise nad bubble passing through the block noise.

I'm getting really frustrated and worried and I'm hesitant to keep touching it incase i screw it up royally. I'd love for some real advice from the pro's here.

I'll post a pic of the loop in a few minutes, need to get my phone out.

Thanks in advance, Adam.

Just turn it to go slower. (Is it molex or 3-pin pump).

And use better language in future.

it's a 3 pin, but it's wired direct to the PSU. Will I just put it on the board and control from there?

Yes. Put it to 7v and it will run silently.

The system won't even post now. I gave up. Going to sleep on it and find a local specialist. Thanks for your input guys, sorry for my language. Was kind of out of order.

You need to fill the reservoir to the brim if you are going to tilt the case. Otherwise you night be putting air back into the loop when you tilt the case.

Especially if you tilt the case up-side-down.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

a big thick radiator (especially mounted top-side) will obviously take a long time to

bleed for a number of reasons. gravity and buoyancy are the main ones. air floats

to the top and it does not like to come down.

if the pump and reservoir are able.. remove and allow the case to lay flat on its back.

the way you have it tubed, the air will exit out of the top fitting, into the CPU, out of

the CPU into the reservoir. if the reservoir and pump were made the highest point

the air will float up and collect in the reservoir. even to tilt the front of case up will

make the highest point of exit the top fitting and allow the air to exit quicker. then walk

the air bubbles through the CPU block and then into the reservoir.
