Hello I'm going to build my first PC soon. Total newbie on this, been lurking around forums to find how to make a good build. I'm going to buy the parts in next few weeks or so it would be nice if anyone here can give some good advice.  :)

CPU : Intel Core i5-4690K
Motherboard : MSI Z97M Gaming
Memory :  Kingston Fury White Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage :  Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU :  MSI R9 290X LIGHTNING
Case : Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV
Power Supply : Cooler Master V700
Keyboard : Cooler Master QuickFire Rapid-i (Brown switch)
Mouse : Logitech G502
Monitor : LG 23MP75H (23MP75HM) / ASUS VX239H

I will be gaming on 1080p (currently gaming on a crappy laptop <_< ). I might post some pics after I build this PC. Thanks!

Edit: Can my build last me at least 5 years of High settings gaming?

I suggest that build all the time , its perfect.

Just not a big fan of the psu , you can swap it by a EVGA 550 or 600w.

Or a corsair cx 600.

Mobo: Save 30$ on a cheaper, but equally good mobo.

And about mouse and keyboard... don't buy it. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your choice is bad. But what you should do instead, is go to a local store, and try out all the options they have, real life. A cheaper mouse might have a much better feeling than a more expensive one. You may even go ton the store and buy online, but you have to try it.

My country doesn't have EVGA brand here. Is the corsair able to handle r9 290x? It has only 3 years warranty compared to 5 years CM psu though.

I think my case couldn't fit a ATX board.. It is hard to find any computer shop around here that let you test their stuff, the choices are based on youtube reviews etc. I would surely try to get my hands on the mouse and keyboard before I buy. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks, can you suggest any good seasonic psu?

Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I forgot about that.

Anyway, here's a choice for a micro atx with sli, as well as one without it. Both cheaper than the initial mobo

Both not available in my country :(

Other choices within my budgets are Msi Z97M-G43, Asus Z97M plus, Gigabyte Z97M-d3h, Asrock Z97M-Pro4.

Well... let me put it in another way. Get the cheapest micro Atx, sli, z97 mobo. They'll ALL work just as good. Maybe paying 2~3 extra bucks for a different color, but aside from that, no point in spending more.
